The client’s goal was to create a modern- looking outdoor space with clean lines in which they could entertain comfortably and not worry about maintenance.

The solution was a combination of rock and stone products creating 2 patio areas, a new driveway constructed of stabilized DG (decomposed granite), an artificial turf lawn area, and some simple low-water use plants.  We also installed a gas fire pit, new fencing on the downhill slope, and some simple plants with mexican beach stones to create an inviting entranceway.

North Park

This project involved creating low maintenance front and back yards with a combination of gravel, St. Augustine sod, and drought tolerant plants.  The result was a large useable space with a modern look and nice clean lines.  We constructed a raised flower bed in the front yard to add a little more depth to the front entrance.  We also installed low voltage copper landscape lighting and commercial- grade bistro lights to illuminate the outdoor seating area.

Linda Vista

This was a simple two day project, yet it completely revived this tired old yard.
We removed all of the existing lawn, and replaced it with an eye-pleasing combination of succulents and low-water use plants with a simple flagstone path, and crushed rock.

Pacific Beach

We removed the entire front lawn, and converted the existing spray irrigation to a water-saving drip system with smart irrigation controller.  All of the plants installed are drought tolerant once established.
The stabilized DG (decomposed granite) pathway meandering throughout the yard is both functional and attractive.

Carmel Valley

We widened the existing driveway and created a more inviting walkway to the front door.
The existing lawn was removed and replaced with a combination of succulents and drought tolerant plants and finished it off with 1/2″ Arizona river rock for a simple, yet clean look.
