For this project, we installed a new irrigation system, new sod lawn, some colorful, hearty, and relatively low maintenance plants, and attractive stone veneer on the face of the house.
This project involved creating low maintenance front and back yards with a combination of gravel, St. Augustine sod, and drought tolerant plants. The result was a large useable space with a modern look and nice clean lines. We constructed a raised flower bed in the front yard to add a little more depth to the front entrance. This backyard renovation included getting rid of their old bermuda lawn, installing a brand new irrigation system, a lush green fescue lawn, dwarf citrus trees, decorative trellises, and a functional DG & flagstone walkway.
This was a simple two day project, yet it completely revived this tired old yard. We removed all of the existing lawn, and replaced it with an eye-pleasing combination of succulents and low-water use plants with a simple flagstone path, and crushed rock.
We removed the entire front lawn, and converted the existing spray irrigation to a water-saving drip system with smart irrigation controller. All of the plants installed are drought tolerant once established. The stabilized DG (decomposed granite) pathway meandering throughout the yard is both functional and attractive.
